Return and refund policy

The following are the return and refund policy of mechboss

Please, read this first before initiating a return. 

Returns will be accepted only when the following conditions are met:

*We recommend taking photos of packages received and shooting a video of unpacking the product. In case of any problem with product share it with info@mechboss.com.

  • All return requests should be filed within 12 hours of the delivery of the product. Any request preceding that will not qualify for replacement. 
  • Productis returned in proper OEM packaging with no damage, scratches or dents.
  • In case of damaged goods being delivered or wrong size or wrong specification is delivered we offer only replacement. No refund of the same will be provided under any condition. 
  • Product packaging is preserved in original condition with no damage, scratches or stains. 
  • Product is unusedand in the same condition as it was at the time of receipt (with no sign of installation)
  • Returns are not accepted during the Sale Period.
  • All products listed in www.mechboss.com will be bound by this return and refund policy. Using the website means you have read and understood the terms and conditions of return and refund policy. 
  • Any item that shows the sign of wear or use or if it is in a condition other than the way it was when it was delivered, it cannot be returned. 
  • Damaged or defective products should be returned in the condition they came in and should include all accessories with it.
  • All products are quality checked before dispatching by mechboss officials and thus we ensure all of them are in working condition.
  • We provide returns only on damaged goods upon delivery. Please exercise caution before placing an order because you cannot cancel an order once it is processed.

  • In case of damaged goods being delivered or wrong size or wrong specification is delivered we offer only replacement. No refund of the same will be provided under any condition. 
  • You should inspect the product as and when received and should submit a return request within the above given stipulated time window.
  • We will refund you the shipping cost you have bared for returning the product or  the shipping cost that we have bared for the product to ship it to you (whichever is lower). 
  • Following are the scope of returns/refunds of all products. All our returns/refunds will be bound by the following:
      • If a product is found faulty or has a manufacturing defect, or a wrong product is sent to you, we will replace the product as fast as possible to our best of capabilities.
      • A full refund of the amount of that product will be initiated only if the replacement of the same product is not available in stock with us. In all other cases, we will be replacing the product. 
      • If there are any changes to this rule, the same will be mentioned in the description of the product. Unless anything is specifically mentioned, all products will be bound by the above given policies.
      • Regarding the refund of the shipping charge that you incur while shipping the product back to us, we can only refund the amount it cost us to ship the product to you or the cost that you have borne (whichever is lower). 
      • Products bought during any sale or discount offers cannot be refunded or replaced

Exemptions from the policy:

  • Items which belong to the following categories are not subject to refund: electronic and complicated electric parts (harnesses, instrument panels, parts with circuit boards etc.)
  • Vendors/merchants can have their own requirements or refund policy.

Return procedure:

Customer can initiate the return from their order panel in mechboss.com

Customer shall check the consignment for any Physical damage and, if any found, mention this in POD (Proof of Delivery) documents of Logistics.

We recommend taking photos of packages received and shooting a video of unpacking the product. In case of any problem with product share it with info@mechboss.com.

In case of a return, do make a video while repacking the parts.

While returning the package, customer should make sure that the parts are repacked properly to ensure it doesn’t get damaged in transit as mechboss shall not be liable for refunds/return in case the part got damaged (while in transit) due to improper packaging.

In the case of the item’s fault claim, the decision will be taken after inspection done by the manufacturer or certified organization.

Depending on the route and logistics services provider delivery time may vary. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

If you are shipping an item over Rs. 3500, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or/and purchasing shipping insurance.

Shipping and finance (gateway) costs are not subject to refund. The cost of return shipping can be deducted from your refund.

If the return claim was rejected, we will send it back on customer’s request or scrap after 30 days of keeping at stock. Customer will be responsible for paying all related shipping costs.

 

 

Refunds:

After the returned part is received, inspected and approved by our QC team, it would take 1 day for the refund to initiate.

It usually, it takes 5-7 working days for the refund amount to be reflected into your source account. If you do not receive the refund within the above said time, please, contact your bank.

Prepayment:  in order to protect Payer, refunds will be done only through the Original Mode of Payment and to the same account from which it was originated.

COD orders: the refund will be done only to the bank account (debit/credit card). Documents proving the ownership of account has to be provided by the customer for processing of the refund.
